Purchased: 2017
Bought this from the original owner several years ago, an engineer and a garage hot rodder. First thing he did was remove all the identification tags and give it a color-clearcoat (smart move!). He was also exceptionally particular about keeping it maintained. Today, with just under 200K miles, it has MANY new parts and updates. If it wasn’t for the fact it has slowly crept up in value, I would probably kill myself after adding up all the receipts. Rebuilt trans, diff, t-case; all new front end parts, upgraded headliner and stereo, some minor engine tweaks; upgraded brakes and shocks; and a whole bunch of stuff that needed to be fixed once it wore out. The plan is to keep on driving it, and might do an engine swap or even an EV conversion – but not for another (probably) 40-50K miles!
